Here by popular demand is the Babylon 5 Prompt Community. So far the rules are simple, post a prompt and other users will fulfill it with fanfiction, fanart, or othert fanworks.

Ibenholt and I were talking and decided that what if, in season 5, Draal launches a prank war on Babylon 5? Perhaps in revenge for Rebo & Zooty. The week they were there, B5 broadcasted all their greatest hits 24/7 and Draal is PISSED. So he gets his revenge in the most hilarious…
Avelera and I agree that aside from the Centauri, the main races probably wouldn’t care that much if a gender swap happened.
The result was this (cut and cleaned up to the best of my ability) :
If Londo woke up as a woman, he’d spend half a minute freaking out before looking down his shirt and going: “Oh. Well, I’m set for the afternoon.”He’d have so much fun.
At least until his government called…
“Crap, Vir, you go talk to them!
“I’m a girl too though!”
”Yes but if they fire you I can rehire you as soon as your male again.”
”But Londo, surely they’ll understand. I mean, this is Babylon 5 after all.”
”Vir, I’m Prime Minister! Now stop arguing and go take the call. If you’re still afraid, just press your boobs up against the camera and tell them that we have technical difficulties!”*So little Vir(a), goes to talk with them*
“Yes, sir?”
“Who are you? Where is Mollari?”
“Oh, I’m just passing through. The ambassador is indisposed. And very hungover.”
“So he sends his wife to deal with me?”
“I’M NOT… I’m not his wife.”
“His mistress, then! I didn’t think he preferred the plain types, but that’s his choice.”
“As I said, I’m just passing through. I actually picked up something in the Zocalo yesterday. See this finger? Why don’t you sit on it and spin, hm?”
B5 Fic Prompt time

Pranks could involve:
- Chasing Garibaldi around with Loony Toons characters (thanks Babble On Project!)
- Race-swapping all the major races. Narns are Centauri, Centauri are Narns, Humans are Minbari and vice versa. Hilarity ensues! (Delenn is fine, drops her toothbrush when she hears John scream)
- Mariachi bands appear at random parts of the station. (courtesy of his good friend Q?)
- People wake up in the wrong beds, those beds are not empty. Hilarity ensues.
And many more!

Essentially, it is a tragic correspondence between two people who need each other more than anything—but isn’t that what most love letters are?

As cliche as it is, I want a fic where Sheridan gets partial amnesia where the last thing he remembers is destroying the Black Star. He then has to come to terms with the idea that he rebelled from Earth and is in a relationship with a Minbari.
I want a fic of Londo and G’Kar writing each other letters, preferably love letters, but you know, I’ll take what I can get because letters make me happy. :D

Catherine has officially joined on as a co-mod for this blog, so if her attention span holds up there should be lots of prompts coming up-that is, if you all keep submitting fabulous prompts!
We’re working (among other things) on setting up a Delicious account to keep track of all completed prompts for easier access. It’s a work in progress so bear with us as we update it. In the meantime, please submit and we’ll start publishing ASAP! (Bonus points for using the “noodle art” or “interpretive dance” categories).
